A. CHEST: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the measuring tape horizontal.
B. WAIST: Measure around the narrowest part (typically where your body bends side to side), keeping the tape horizontal.
C. LENGTH (INSEAM): Start at the very top of the inside of your leg—right at the crotch. Place the tape there and measure straight down along the inside of your leg to where you want the trousers to end, usually at the ankle. Make sure the tape is smooth and not twisted.
D. BUST: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, going straight across your back. The tape should sit flat, not slipping down. Stand tall with your arms relaxed by your sides for an accurate measurement.
E. WAIST (WOMEN): Find the smallest part of your waist—it’s just above your belly button and below your ribcage, where your body naturally curves in. Wrap the tape around this point so it sits flat against your skin. Keep it level all the way around and snug, not tight.
F. HIPS: Stand with your feet together. Measure around the widest part of your hips and buttocks. The tape should sit evenly all the way around and feel comfortable—not squeezing.
